Dutch Court Bans Samsung Smartphones

…and I think this is total bullshit. I seem to recall reading that this means Samsung can not sell smartphones (Galaxy S, S II and Ace) in the entire EU. If that is true, all I can say is RABBLE RABBLE!

Hey Dutch courts, you are stupid. Didn’t you know that the claims were shooped?

Aside from this, the Netherlands still seem awesome.

In war, there are no winners.

Apple has called for a patent jihad on all Android devices. If Android devices were twin towers, Apple would gleefully fly a couple of 767s into them. After a victory against Samsung in Germany, recent claims against Motorola and a 2010 suit against HTC and now with HTC going on the offense, Apple is going to find itself tied up in legal suits against many of the leading developers of Android devices.

Apple Seeks Mobile Device Monopoly in US

Apples injunction against Samsung granted by a court in Dusseldorf, Germany puts them at a huge advantage. It means that Samsung will not be able to compete in the tablet PC industry in just about the entire European Union. In other words, it leaves Apple without any real competition.
